This is Leomary Rodriguez, Founder of Wunder Body.
I want to thank my customers and everyone that knows me personally who has supported my endeavors with Wunder Body. I started this skincare company in 2016 under a different name. After renaming, re-branding and educating myself, I have decided to close the doors to Wunder Body and embark on a new chapter.
I started Wunder Body out of necessity. As a freelance filmmaker and a receptionist at a public relations agency, I was presented with a lot of opportunities that I said no to, because I lacked confidence. I had problematic skin and I allowed that to hold me back from attending events and living my best life. I started this journey by making mud masks by hand and eventually partnered with a lab to scale Wunder Body. I wanted to share my knowledge with the world while adding genuine inclusivity to the brand's identity. The journey was fantastic and filled with hard, rewarding work. It was worth it, not only for myself but for my employees and interns. It was also worth getting to know everyone via the #inmyskin platform.
I will always have a soft spot for skincare and the wellness space, but I know where my energy should be. I learned a lot through Wunder Body and I hope to carry this knowledge with me into the future.
